I can't say enough good things about Shane and Fjord Electric. Shane is the owner and operator, and he truly takes pride in his work.He recently completed a generator install for us and made the trip out to Skykomish, WA without hesitation. The install was clean, well thought out, and done right the first time.What really impressed me was his response during the recent flooding in Skykomish. On his own time, Shane came back out to check on things. He lifted our generator to keep it from being submerged or swept away. While there, he noticed our propane tanks had broken loose and were floating in the floodwater. He went into chest-deep, freezing water to retrieve them and secure them to nearby trees so they wouldn't be lost.That kind of dedication is rare. Shane went well beyond what anyone would normally expect from a contractor.If you're looking for an electrician who actually cares about his customers and stands behind his work, I highly recommend Shane and Fjord Electric.

Our 1904 home required a full rewire and we admittedly had no idea about the process, phases or approach to the full scale project. Shane has been extremely communicative and timely. We went through the home room by room discussing current and future state electrical needs and Shane provided his recommendation with lens on minimal holes to the lath and plaster. This is certainly not a straightforward job and required a crew that has very specific technical expertise with older homes. The updating process has been smooth, with clear communication throughout the project as new discoveries come up (as to be expected with a 120 yo home) including potential trades offs and/or solutions on a go forward plan. We will 100% use Shane again on a future remodel and DADU. Professionalism, communication and thoroughness are top notch.

Fjord Electric is awesome. We use them for all our electrical projects big and small, including improving recent work done by other companies. Shane is knowledgeable, sincere, communicative and takes a lot of pride in his work. Fjord recently completed the install of our Generac 14kW standby generator system in Skykomish. Shane walked us through the entire process prior to doing the work and arranged everything, including the excavation in a tight space with tons of rocks. We appreciate having a great electrician willing to work in our remote area, where finding good tradesmen can be challenging. We already have them lined up for future projects and won't use anyone else. Do yourself a favor and work with Fjord Electric. They do it right the first time.
